Senior India cricketer Dinesh Karthik posted a hilarious tweet about a funny morning incident between him and his wife Dipika Pallikal that has gotten the fans laughing their hearts out.
Dinesh Karthik is currently on a break from the commentary duties in the gap between the third and fourth Border-Gavaskar Trophy series.
In this gap, the cricketer got to spent time with his wife, Dipika Pallikal, who is an Indian squash player and a 3-time WISPA tour title winner.
The 37-year-old RCB wicket-keeper shared this hilarious incident with his Twitter fans, wherein Dipika was in a frown mood in the morning after a cute little fight at 4 am!
Dinesh Karthik tweeted:
“4 . 25 am

Me – OK *half asleep*
Dipika – you don’t reply to anything i ask
Me – 🥱😵💫

“I knew it was coming,” Karthik said with a laughing emoji.

Dinesh Karthik set to return to IPL 2023 action with RCB

Meanwhile, Dinesh Karthik will return to top-level action through the upcoming IPL 2023, where he will be donning the red color of RCB.
The 37-year-old has been discarded from the Indian T20I team after last year’s T20 World Cup in Australia, where India were knocked out in the semi-final. Karthik had made his comeback to Team India after three years last year and started ahead of Rishabh Pant in the T20 WC. However, after scores of 1, 6, and 7, he was dumped aside and Pant was brought back.
Now, the IPL 2023 gives another opportunity for Dinesh Karthik. But even if he does well, it is unlikely that the selectors will recall him for the 2024 T20 WC, when he will be around 39 of age.
Anyway, RCB will be hoping Dinesh Karthik carried on his belligerent finishing form from last year’s IPL to this year.
RCB’s first match in IPL 2023 is on April 2nd, against Mumbai Indians at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
