Navjot Singh Sidhu hospitalised with acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT)

Navjot Singh Sidhu, who represented India in 51 Tests and 136 one-day internationals, has been hospitalised in New Delhi with the neurological problem. Sidhu developed a clot in his vein and was admitted to Indraprastha Apollo Hospital.

According some media reports and a tweet by his friend and comedian Kapil Sharma, Navjot Singh Sidhu’s condition is now stable and he has recovered well after the initial treatement in Apollo Hospital.

Indraprastha Apollo Hospital authorities issued the following statement:

“Mr Navjot Singh Sidhu was admitted to Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals Delhi today evening with acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT). This is a life-threatening condition if not treated on time.

“Mr Sidhu has been put on blood thinners and has been recovering well. His condition is said to be stable as of now.”

Navjot Singh Sidhu later posted a picture on his Twitter account saying he will recover soon with god’s grace.
