Sporting brand Adidas, which is the kit sponsor of Team India, revealed India’s jersey for the upcoming World Cup 2023 in a dynamic music launch video featuring the Indian players including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Hardik Pandya, and Ravindra Jadeja among others.
The official India World Cup 2023 jersey was launched by Adidas on September 20, just 15 days out from the start of the World Cup.
In a rap video sung by rapper Raftaar, Adidas titled the video “3 Ka Dream” as Team India aims for their third ODI World Cup trophy, and also to end their ICC trophy drought that has now stretched for 10 long years.
Adidas wrote: “Rooted in the belief ‘impossible is nothing’, adidas sets the stage for the ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 with its ‘3 Ka Dream’ World Cup campaign. A testament to the country’s unwavering support for team India, ‘3 Ka Dream’ gives words to over a billion Indian fans’ dream to see their team win a third ODI World Cup.”

Adidas makes two big changes to Team India’s ODI jersey for World Cup 2023
Adidas also made two major modifications in Team India’s ODI jersey for the upcoming tournament.
They listed it out as follows: First, the three white stripes on the shoulder are replaced with three tricolor stripes, symbolizing the national flag. And second, the BCCI logo now has two stars, reflecting the two ODI World Cup titles India won in 1983 and 2011.
“In a grand gesture of celebration for the World Cup being hosted on home soil, adidas has revamped the ODI jersey, replacing the three white stripes on the shoulders with the vibrant tricolour. The BCCI logo now proudly bears two stars, symbolizing India’s historic ODI victories in 1983 and 2011,” Adidas wrote.
