After waiting for more than two years, Arjun Tendulkar finally made his much-awaited debut in the Indian Premier League for Mumbai Indians. Son of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun received his IPL cap from Rohit Sharma ahead of their clash against Kolkata Knight Riders.
Arjun made a decent start to his IPL career as he finished with 0/17 from two overs. Arjun opened the bowling for the five-time champs. He got some swing at the start and utilized the same to get the new ball to move. Many were impressed with his pace and movement of the ball.
Arjun Tendulkar Took His Father Sachin’s Blessings Before His Debut
It was a big day for the Tendulkars and a huge moment of pride for Sachin Tendulkar, who watched the proceedings from inside the MI change room, while sister Sara cheered on from the stands.
Meanwhile, a video of Arjun and Sachin has been going viral on the internet, where Arjun can be seen touching Sachin’s feet to take his blessings before entering the field. The video shows how Arjun is a man of culture and how much he respects the game and his parents.

Earlier, the master blaster, Sachin Tendulkar also took to his social media and came up with a heart-touching post for his son. In his Instagram post, Sachin wished Arjun all the luck as he took another important step in his career. He wrote:

As your father, someone who loves you and is passionate about the game, I know you will continue to give the game the respect it deserves and the game will love you back.
