They first broke the bank to sign star Indian batter Smriti Mandhana for INR 3.4 crore, who is the biggest buy in the WPL 2023 auction so far

Smriti Mandhana was roped in by the Bangalore-based franchise for a whopping sum of ₹3.40 crore on Monday. Royal Challengers Bangalore then bought the services of Australia’s Ellyse Perry after acquiring the services of Indian vice-captain Mandhana.

Royal Challengers Bangalore also bought the likes of Sophie Devine, Renuka Singh, and Richa Ghosh in their ranks, making them one of the strongest teams in the competition. After a stunning performance in the auctions, RCB is likely to enter the competition as a strong favorite to win the tournament.
