End of the road for Bhuvneshwar Kumar?
Senior bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the biggest name missing from the Annual Players Contracts. Kumar was last seen playing an international game for the Indian cricket team against New Zealand at Napier on November 22, 2022. Ever since then, he hasn’t played for the Indian side.
Apart from Bhuvi, there were several big names like Ajinkya Rahane and Ishant Sharma, who missed out on the annual contracts.
Notably, Rahane and Ishant were part of India’s Test team for a long time and were recently dropped from the team on the basis of their average performances
It seems curtains for the veteran trio, who have been dropped from the contract list, signaling that it is the end of the road for the veteran players in the national team.
