IPL 2023: Delhi Capitals Suffer Another Big Blow After Rishabh Pant: Delhi Capitals suffered yet another blow ahead of the upcoming 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League as Sarfaraz Khan suffered a finger injury during the DY Patil T20 Cup.

With this Delhi Capitals’ hunt for the wicketkeeper ahead of IPL 2023 has taken a sharp blow. Sarfaraz’s injury has come as a setback for the Delhi Capitals, who have been struggling to find a perfect replacement for the injured Rishabh Pant.

Delhi Capitals had high hopes for Sarfaraz Khan as he had impressed with his performances in the domestic cricket season. However, he suffered a hairline fracture in his finger ahead of the Irani Cup tie and IPL 2023. He is currently at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata where Delhi Capitals are having a training camp ahead of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (2023).

His injury has left the DC team management without a suitable option to replace Pant.

For the unversed, Indian keeper-batter and DC captain Rishabh Pant suffered a horrific car accident in December last year, where he suffered multiple injuries on his body.  He sustained cuts on his forehead and had a severely bruised back along with injuries on his knee and ankle. Because of his injury he was ruled out of the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Trophy and the upcoming edition of the IPL.
