Dhruv Jurel’s Masterclass Leads To Ben Duckett’s Run-Out: Throughout the 3rd Test match between India and England, India faced some unfortunate run-out situations. In the first innings, debutant Sarfaraz Khan was run out after Ravindra Jadeja initially called for a run but then changed his mind. Similarly, on Sunday, Shubman Gill faced a similar fate due to a miscommunication with Kuldeep Yadav.
However, when England encountered a run-out in the seventh over of their innings, resulting from a misunderstanding between their players, the Indian team showed visible joy and excitement.
Dhruv Jurel’s Masterclass Leads To Ben Duckett’s Run-Out

During the match, Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley got into trouble due to a misunderstanding. Duckett hit the ball towards mid-wicket, but Crawley hesitated, leaving Duckett stuck halfway down the pitch. Crawley quickly signaled Duckett to go back, but Mohammed Siraj threw the ball accurately, preventing Duckett from getting back safely. Dhruv Jurel, the wicketkeeper, ran swiftly towards the stumps, grabbed the ball, and removed the bails just in time to get Duckett out.
The Indian team appreciated Jurel’s quick action, which led to Duckett’s dismissal and gave India an important breakthrough. Later, before the Tea break, India took another wicket when Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Crawley.

Earlier, India took advantage of Yashasvi Jaiswal’s incredible double century to gain a strong position in the third Test. Despite retiring hurt on 104 due to back spasms the day before, Jaiswal returned to the pitch and played remarkably, helping India reach a score of 430-4 before they declared.
Jaiswal’s unbeaten 214 runs, which included 12 sixes and 14 fours, not only set a challenging target of 557 runs for England but also matched Wasim Akram’s record for the most sixes in a Test innings, achieved back in 1996 against Zimbabwe. With England struggling at 18-2 in their chase, India tightened their hold on the match, positioning themselves for victory.
