Unseen Fight Between Virat Kohli And Marnus Labuschagne: With the Border Gavaskar Trophy in full swing, the Indian cricket team has managed to dominate over the Aussies, having taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the four-match series.
Recently, during the 1st Test match, Marnus Labuschagne was involved in a friendly banter with former captain Virat Kohli at the VCA Stadium. The incident took place during the sixth over when Labuschagne missed a delivery from Jadeja which got Kohli smiling.
Kohli, who was standing at the slip position, suggested a tip to Marnus after he played the first ball from Jadeja during the match. Kohli suggested Marnus to shoulder his arms to such deliveries. Later on, he scored a four playing a smooth cover drive for which he got lauded by Kohli.
In the 1st Test match, Labuschange was Australia’s top-scorer in the innings with his 133-ball 49 before being dismissed by Jadeja.
Later, after the match, the Australia batter talked about the fun banter with the former Indian captain and praised him. He revealed how he actually learned a couple of shots from the Indian batting superstar. He said:
“Yeah, it’s always nice when Virat thinks you have played a decent shot there. There are a few shots I definitely learned from him,”
