Pakistan’s super league has just started this week and the controversies have already started. Shadab Khan, who is one of the premier Pakistan cricketers in white-ball cricket and the youngest ever skipper of Islamabad United is making a lot of news for all the wrong reasons.
Shadab Khan has landed himself in an ugly controversy after a Dubai-based social media influencer named Ashreena Safia accused him of blackmailing her.
In a lengthy post on social media, the social media influencer claimed how Shadab Khan has approached her on social media and is now threatening her to leak her nudes is she opens up about their dating rumors.
Ashreena has now taken to her social media to expose the behavior of Pakistani cricketer, Shadab Khan. She started off her lengthy post by clearing all the rumors surrounding the rumors of her being in a relationship with Shadab Khan. She revealed how their relationship grew during the 2019 Cricket World Cup in England.
Shee also admitted how she has traveled to many countries on her own expense and also went on to attend various T20 leagues Shadab took part in. She wrote:
“Yes, I see all the messages you guys send and it is very hard for me to accept but here we are. This is personal/vulnerable for me to share but I have a platform Alhamdulillah to do right. I’m sorry to all the girls who reached out for help when they were used and taken advantage of by the person I was with. Astaghfirullah that I believed his lies and unconsciously enabled his behavior,”
She further revealed how when a journalist clicked both of them and put it out in the media, this is when Shadab Khan started threatening her. She also talked about how she has zero gains from this controversy. She wrote:
“I have zero to gain from posting this but if I can help one girl become aware then I’m willing to jeopardize myself. I’ve been dealing with this since I moved to Dubai. Shadab is probably the first guy I’ve cared about so deeply and it’s hard to process this still. I can’t address anything further for legal reasons so please respect my privacy.”
