Hardik Pandya Wears BCCI Helmet In Comeback Match

Star Indian all-rounder, Hardik Pandya had been out of action owing to an injury problem that kept him off the cricket field for nearly six months. The right-handed player recently made his comeback to competitive cricket as he turned up for Reliance 1 team in the DY Patil T20 Cup. Hardik made an enthralling comeback to cricket as he smacked four sixes in his brief knock of 37 runs.

The fans were highly excited to see the return of Hardik Pandya but unfortunately, the Baroda-born player has landed in trouble once again. This time it is not related to his remarks off the field neither his posts on Instagram. This time, Hardik has come under the scanner for using the BCCI logo on his helmet in this local match.
As per the new rules of the Indian cricket governing body, no cricketer is allowed to have the BCCI logo on his helmet or any other sportswear while playing a domestic match. The board had issued the following statement in 2014 citing the relevance of the aforementioned rule. The statement goes as follows:
“The rule has been there from the start of the season but has only been implemented in all earnestness during the recently-concluded Deodhar Trophy final between West Zone and East Zone.”

However, Pandya did not seem to have taken note of this rule as he wore the Indian team helmet that he usually wears while playing for India at the international level. IPL 2020 will start from 29th March with the first match being between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. Hardik Pandya will be the watch out for in IPL 2020. He is one of the best hitters in India and also he has a great bowling record.
