Here’s How You Can Download The WPL Mobile App

The BCCI has stepped up its promotions for the Women’s Premier League (WPL) by launching a specific mobile application for the WPL fans ahead of the inaugural season, which will begin on March 4, Saturday.

To cater to the growing audience of the WPL, this app has been launched which will serve all the exciting content from the tournament.

The mobile application was launched on the morning of the first match of WPL 2023, between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Giants.

Fans can download the WPL mobile app from the Google Play store.

The WPL social media handles shared this information with the fans, urging them to download the app for all the latest updates on WPL.

“The first thing you need to do before the #TATAWPL begins Find the latest content, including match highlights, press conferences and recap all at your fingertips by downloading the official WPL app,” WPL captioned their post.

On the WPL mobile app, the fans can relive some of the best moments from the match, there will be interviews and press conferences of the players from before, during and after the game, plus loads of more content.

The BCCI is hoping for a massive success of the WPL 2023. The first match betweeen MI and GG will be played at the DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai. The board have planned a grand opening ceremony in which some of the renowned artists of the country, such as AP Dillion, Kriti Sanon, and Kiara Advani, will be performing.

The 5-team tournament will be played from March 4 to March 26 across two grounds: DY Patil Sports Academy, and Brabourne Stadium. The 5 teams will play each other twice in the round-robin stage, making up for 20 league matches. The team that finishes on top enters straight into the final and while the teams placed second and third battle it out in an eliminator that decides the second finalist.
