Imran Tahir Wrote A Heartfelt Post For The Fans After CSK’s Journey Ended In IPL 2020

Veteran Imran Tahir picked up went emotional after the journey of Chennai Super Kings in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League came to an end on Sunday after a game against KXIP. The highest wicket-taker of the tournament last season, Tahir was seen warming the bench for CSK this season.

However, the veteran bowler finished the IPL 2020 journey on an exciting note. In his last match, Imran Tahir picked the wicket of the Universe Boss for the first time in the history of IPL.

In IPL 2019, Imran Tahir won the Purple Cap with 26 wickets, did not find a spot in the playing XI as Chennai Super Kings struggled to get their combination right. Tahir had to wait till the final game to open his account as Gayle became his first and the last victim of IPL 2020.

Meanwhile, after the journey of CSK in IPL 2020 came to an end on Sunday, their star-cricketer Imran Tahir took to his Twitter and wrote a heartfelt tweet for his fans. In his tweet, he expressed how he has got a heavy feeling for not being able to make it to the playoffs.

He also sought apologies from the fans for not being able to perform the way his fans had expected. Further, he promised that he will bounce back if given a chance. He wrote:

“Good finish at the end but a heavy feeling in the heart not to get to the play offs.Sorry fans if you feel I didn’t perform the way you all expected.If given a chance will try and do better next year.Thanks a lot for your love and continued support #Yellove”
