Umran Malik recently made his ODI debut in New Zealand, picking 3 wickets in 3 ODIs, and did well on his debut to dismiss Devon Conway and Daryl Mitchell.Mohammed Shami is also unlikely to feature in the Test series.India has a full-strength squad among the available players for this Bangladesh ODI series as Rohit Sharma’s team starts their preparation for the ODI World Cup 2023 later in the year in October-November at home.
Amongst the first-choice players, India are missing Jasprit Bumrah, who is recovering from a back injury, and Ravindra Jadeja, who has been ruled out of the ODI series and possibly from the Tests too as he continues his recovery from a knee surgery.
