India vs West Indies 2016: BCCI agree to play 2 T20Is in America

In a very welcoming move, the Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) on Tuesday confirmed the dates for the T20Is to be played between India and West Indies.

Both the matches will be played at the Central Broward Regional Park at Lauderhill in Florida, which is presently hosting six Caribbean Premier League (CPL) matches. BCCI took to Twitter to confirm the dates for the two matches.

According to some media reports, this series has been organised as a compensation for the loss incurred by BCCI, when West Indies team, led by Dwayne Bravo, walked off mid-through the ODI series because of some dispute with West Indies Cricket Board. The BCCI are likely to take away a major chunk of the revenue earned from this short series.
