India will play their do or die match of ICC Champions Trophy 2017 against South Africa, on 11the June. After registering a thumping win in their first match against Pakistan, India were looking a very solid side. But, the young Sri Lanka side gave a spirited performance and surprised Team India. India were looking firm favourites to win the match but the Lankan batsmen batted brilliantly and surprised one and all.
Now, India will have win their last group match against South Africa to stay alive in the tournament. Interestingly, South Africa are also in the same position. Proteas also need to win the match to qualify for the semi-final round of ICC Champions Trophy 2017.
India are a very solid side but they might have to consider some changes in their playing XI for the must-win game against South Africa. As far as the batting order is concerned, India are looking very settled and it is unlikely that they will make any change there. But, there can be one change in the bowling department.
India’s ace off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin played any game in the tournament so far and there are speculations that he might be included in the playing XI against South Africa. If initial pictures from a leading cricket journalist, Ravichandran Ashwin is all set to feature in the knockout clash against South Africa on Sunday.

Ashwin is class bowler and would be desperate to go out in the middle and give a match-winning performance. Ashwin didn’t play in IPL 2017 just to give his body perfect and prepare for the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. He has worked extremely hard on his fitness and looks all set to roll his arm again. If the pictures shared above are to be believed, Ashwin had a long session in the nets and he was being observed very carefully.
