IPL 2022: Harsha Bhogle Picks His Best XI For Mumbai Indians

The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 is all set to kickstart from the 26th of March, and the excitement and anticipation among the fans are increasing day after day. Mumbai Indians’ captain Rohit Sharma will be getting their hands on their 6th title in the upcoming IPL 2022.

The star cricketer has his eyes set on getting some breathing room for the MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings, who are only one trophy away from Mumbai Indians’ 5 trophies.

Mumbai Indians are one of the most successful franchises in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL), having won the silverware 5 times.

Before going into the IPL 2022 Mega-Auction, Mumbai Indians had to make some bold decisions. Mumbai Indians managed to retain the core of the team as Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, and Kieron Pollard were retained.

As the Rohit Sharma led Mumbai Indians are sweating it out ahead of the upcoming mega-tournament, Indian commentator and analyst Harsha Bhogle cut the task short for many Mumbai fans as he revealed his best possible Playing XI for Mumbai Indians going into the IPL 2022.

For the opening position, Harsha Bhogle picked Mumbai’s captain Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan, followed by young Tilak Verma was positioned at number 3.

At number 4, Harsha picked India International Suryakumar Yadav, followed by Kieron Pollard and Tim David at numbers 5 and 6. Daniel Sams is another all-rounder who has been picked by the legendary commentator.

Talking about the bowling options, Murugan Ashwin and Sanjay Yadav are two spin bowling options picked by Harsha. Jasprit Bumrah will be leading the bowling attack. For the upcoming season, Bhogle has picked either Tymal Mills or Riley Meredith as Bumrah’s partner. However, he also mentioned that Jofra Archer will partner Bumrah from IPL 2023.
