Mumbai Indians‘ stylish opener Ishan Kishan continued with his horrible run in the ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. He once again failed to live up to the expectations of the fans as he was seen struggling for form yet again and was unable to break the shackles in the ongoing clash against Lucknow Super Giants at the iconic Wankhede Stadium.
Searching for their first win of the ongoing season, Mumbai Indians opted to bowl first. Riding on the stunning century of KL Rahul, LSG posted a total of 168 runs for Mumbai Indians.
Coming out to chase the target, Mumbai Indians started the innings on the worst possible note. While Rohit showed some signs of a return to form as he smashed Dushamnatha Chameera and other bowlers, on the other hand, Ishan Kishan was seen badly struggling for form yet again.
The left-hander opener was batting on 8 from 19 balls when he was dismissed in one of the most bizarre and unlucky manners. It was on the first ball of the seventh over Ravi Bishnoi was bowling and Ishan tried to smash him towards the cover region however he got the lower edge of the bat. Though, normally the ball would have hit the ground and bounced but not in the case of unlucky Ishan Kishan as his shot ended up hitting the wicket-keeper’s shoe and it bounced back only for Jason Holder to take an easy catch at slip.

No doubt Rohit Sharma has underperformed in IPL in last few seasons, but opening with Ishan kishan is one of the main reasons. You don’t watch cricket if you don’t accept it.

Let’s not be too negative on Ishan Kishan and appreciate the fact that he now wants to play Test cricket for India as well. #IPL2022

Ishan kishan has made life of Rohit Sharma & well as MI Franchise hell, in every match he creates pressure on Rohit & gets out but @mipaltan and Rohit are busy in pampering him.
