Before the tournament started, it was a million-dollar question that how would the Titans captain be playing given his woeful run in the last one year. However, for the Titans, it has so far been the phenomenal Hardik Pandya who has scored the highest number of runs for the Titans as he has currently amassed 228 runs at a fine average of 76 and a strike rate of 136.52. More importantly, he has also picked up 4 wickets at an economy rate of 7.56.

Lucknow Super GiantsAvesh Khan

Despite KL Rahul’s brilliance with the bat in IPL 2022, we have chosen Avesh Khan for this spot given the significant impact that he has created with his haul of 11 wickets so far at an excellent economy rate of 8.29 and some excellent death bowling under the pump. Despite going for a few runs in the initial couple of matches, he is back in the hunt again.

Chennai Super KingsShivam Dube

Though he received severe flak at the end of the Titans for not diving to claim the important catch of David Miller, yet, he has surprisingly been the highest run-scorer for the Chennai Super Kings in the midst of IPL 2022, that has promised them nothing except despair. He has racked up 226 runs at a fine average of 45.20 and a staggering strike rate of 168.65.

Royal Challengers Bangalore Dinesh Karthik

Batting at number 6 or 7 in the innings, Dinesh Karthik has amassed 197 runs at an astonishing average of 197 and a strike rate of 209.57, in IPL 2022. Even if we keep the numbers aside, the impact that he has had on RCB’s batting has been absolutely herculean. He has been a leader for the Challengers in the word’s truest sense. Even last night, he emerged as the saviour against the Delhi Capitals with another 34-ball-66 that saw RCB putting up a brilliant 189 on the cards.

Mumbai IndiansSuryakumar Yadav

He joined IPL 2022 late due to an injury and yet he has caught up the fastest amongst others as he is currently Mumbai’s highest-scorer with 200 runs at an astonishing average of 66.66 and a staggering strike rate of 153.84, leaving a trail of carnage wherever he has been. Take out Suryakumar Yadav out of the equation and Mumbai will be down to further chaos instead of the close shaves that they have had so far in all 6 of their defeats.

Sunrisers HyderabadRahul Tripathi

It was close call between Umran Malik, T Natarajan and Rahul Tripathi and yet it was the batter who made the cut given his towering presence in the excellent turnaround of affairs. The former KKR batter has managed to smash 205 runs at an excellent strike rate of 173.72 and a brilliant average of 51.25, in IPL 2022. Umran Malik deserves a special mention too given his brilliant over that produced 4 wickets against the Punjab Kings.

The chinaman spinner has manifested himself in the most intimidating avatar that we have seen him in the IPL in the last three years. He has already claimed 11 wickets at a fine economy rate of 8.23 in IPL 2022. His best haul in the tournament has so far been 4 for 35. Last night against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, despite being smacked for 23 runs in a single over by Glenn Maxwell, he came back and claimed the all-important scalp of the Australian hard-hitter.

Yuzi has been in scintillating form in IPL 2022, ever since he has donned the RR cap and his numbers are just too good to be ignored. He has already claimed 12 wickets in the tournament and is the leading contender for the purple cap. He has been exceptionally miserly with the cherry in his arms as his economy rate currently reads 6.8.

Kolkata Knight RidersUmesh Yadav

Despite being reticent in the last couple of losses for the Kolkata Knight Riders, Umesh Yadav has been in prime form so far in the ongoing edition of the tournament. He has swung the ball by a good deal and has mixed it up with speeds of 140 plus clicks. He has racked up 10 wickets so far at an excellent economy rate of 6.79.

Punjab KingsLiam Livingstone

The English all-rounder has been in absolutely intimidating form with some crazy striking of the cherry. In a season where Punjab started the campaign brightly and is once again flirting dangerously with mediocrity, Liam Livingstone has almost single-handedly been managing their batting brilliance in IPL 2022. He has so far racked up 224 runs at an average of 37.33 and at a mind-boggling strike rate of 185.12.
