Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Rinku Singh has become an overnight sensation. He has been receiving praise from all corners as he pulled off one of the most incredible finishes in the Indian Premier League (IPL) history.
Rinku lit up the Narendra Modi Stadium and left everyone stunned with his batting prowess as he smashed five consecutive sixes in the last over of the game when 28 runs were needed for the KKR to win against the Gujarat Titans.
While chasing the target of 205 runs, KKR needed 28 runs in the final over. This is when Rinku Singh came through with a crucial cameo and stole the win from GT’s hands. With 28 needed to win off five balls, when no one gave him a chance, Rinku did the unthinkable as he smashed five sixes in a row off and escaped with the heist of KKR.
It wasn’t easy to grab all the limelight in a match where Rashid Khan took a match-altering hattrick, but Rinku Singh played a miraculous knock and he deserves all the praise for it.
