Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan, who was blessed with a baby boy on December 19, has named the new member of his family, Imran Khan Pathan.
Irfan tweeted a beautiful picture of his son with a message: “This name is close to our hearts n family….The name is IMRAN:) #Imrankhanpathan @iamyusufpathan,” tweeted the former Indian all-rounder.”

Irfan Pathan is trying hard to make a comeback to India’s national team. He, along with elder brother Yusuf Pathan, are trying hard at the domestic level to impress the selectors and make a comeback to international cricket. While many believe Yusuf Pathan’s comeback is highly unlikely considering his age and Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin’s strong hold in the playing, Irfan Pathan still has at least 4 years of cricket still left in him. Irfan, who was once India’s main fast bowler, lost his pace after an injury and since then he has been trying hard to make a comeback. Irfan Pathan did play in a couple of One Day International (ODI) series in between but he wasn’t able to make a strong statement with his performances.
