US President Donald Trump created a stir on social media after he mispronounced the name of cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar at the ‘Namastey Trump’ event at the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. Addressing the jam-packed stadium in Motera, I’m his speech, Donald Trump praised prominent Bollywood stars before moving on to the cricket world. And much to the delight of fans present at the World’s biggest cricket stadium, the POTUS mentioned the names of all time legend – Sachin Tendulkar and the modern legend of this game – Virat Kohli.
“This is the country where your people cheer on the biggest cricketers, from Sachin Tendulkar to Virat Kohli, the greatest in the world,” said Trump at the event.
