Kumar Sangakkara’s Tweet To Hardik Pandya Is ‘Very Special’

India’s all-rounder Hardik Pandya is one of the most exciting young cricketers in the world. In the last couple of years, he has emerged as a brilliant all-round for India in limited over cricket.

He is a very useful bowler who can deliver his quota of overs, and he also has the knack of picking key wickets. In the batting department, Pandya is one of the cleanest hitters of the cricket ball. In his you career, so far, Pandya has played some brilliant knocks for India in the middle order.

In the ongoing 5-match ODI series between India and Australia, Pandya has been one of the India’s best performer. In the first ODI, he formed a match-winning partnership with MS Dhoni. In the third ODI, he was promoted up the order at number 4 and he played one of the best innings of his ODI career so far.

Hardik Pandya’s innings was praised by former Sri Lankan captain and one of the best batsmen in cricket history, Kumar Sangakkara. Impressed by Pandya’s knock, Sanga took to Twitter and called him ‘very special player’, before calling India a complete side for all conditions.

Sangakkara is widely regarded as one of the most technically correct batsmen in the history of the game. In his long, illustrious career for Sri Lanka, he played some of the best ODI and Test innings. And, coming from him, it would be mean a lot to Hardik Pandya.

“@BCCI seemed to canter to the series win. @hardikpandya7 is a very special player. India looks a complete side for all conditions,” Kumar Sangakkara wrote on Twitter.

Hardik Pandya replied to Sanga’s tweet and called him “Sir”. This show that the young all-rounder knows how to give respect to legends of the game, like Kumar Sangakkara.
