Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pacer Mohammed Siraj has been phenomenal with the ball in the IPL 2023. And a piece of his brilliance was showcased on Wednesday night against KKR when he castled the big giant Andre Russell with a superb, pin-point yorker at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium.
It was a perfect leg-stump yorker from Siraj to which Russell had no answers. On the last ball of his spell, Siraj steamed in hard, with great intensity, and delivered a leg-stump yorker at a high speed of 144 KPH. Russell swung his bat but didn’t manage to get anything onto the ball and was stunned to see the ball hit the leg stump and the bail pop out.
The fast bowler celebrated this dismissal animatedly. It felt like a revenge for the bowler for the beating he got from Andre Russell in 2019 at this same venue.
