Mumbai Indians, one of the most successful franchises in the IPL history, will kickstart their campaign in the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League and will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in its opening clash on April 2 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The five-time champions had the worst possible campaign in the Indian Premier League 2022 where they finished at the bottom of the standings after the league stage.
Talking about the upcoming season, MI is placed in group A and the Indian Premier League 2023 final will be played on May 28 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
The teams for the Indian Premier League 2023 have been divided into two groups:
Group A: Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants
Group B: while Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans
