VIDEO: Mumbai Indians’ Saika Ishaque Takes 2 Wickets In One Over

Mumbai Indians women once again kickstarted their game on a powerful note as they play their second game of the ongoing Women’s Premier League against Royal Challengers Bangalore Women. Saika Ishaque, who stole the show with her sensational bowling in her last game against Gujarat, has once again managed to grab all the limelight by picking up 2 wickets in her 2 overs so far.

As the match kickstarted RCB-W won the toss and elected to have a go with the bat first however their decision didn’t turn out well as all-rounder Hayley Matthews and Saika Ishaque struck with the ball within the powerplay and reduced RCB to 43/4 in the first six overs.

Saika was sensational throughout as she provided Mumbai with a consecutive breakthrough in the fifth over by dismissing Sophie Devine on the second delivery before she sent back Disha Kasat on a two-ball duck cleaning up her stumps.

Talking about the two wickets of Saika, her first victim Sohpie Devine first appeared to be moving a little too slowly, and the batter attempted to clear mid-wicket but was unsuccessful, finding the fielder at the edge of the circle.

On the other hand, Disha Kasat was only able to last for one delivery before being dismissed on the next one. She attempted to push the ball away but completely missed it as the ball rattled the middle stumps.

In her previous game against Gujarat Giants, Ishaque emerged as the standout performer in the match, as she picked four wickets for just 11 runs in 3.1 overs and helped Mumbai win their first match of the tournament.

Talking about the ongoing match between MI W vs RCB W, RCB seems to be in trouble as their top-order batters have once again failed to deliver. RCB only managed to post a total of 155 runs on the board, with Richa Ghosh (28 off 26) turning out to be their highest run-getter of the side.
