Ravindra Jadeja In IPL 2022:

Ravindra Jadeja had a disastrous run in the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League. Jadeja’s maiden stint as the captain of Chennai Super Kings didn’t go as planned as the Chennai-based franchise lost 2 out of 8 matches. Jadeja featured in 10 games, where he could only manage 116 runs with the bat at a disappointing average of 19.33 and strike rate of 118.37, with the best score of 26.

After his disappointing performance, he decided to step down from the captaincy position and was replaced by MS Dhoni. But Jadeja only played two games under Dhoni before he was ruled out due to a bruised rib. Chennai Super Kings finished the season in 9th place with just 8 points after 14 games.
