Young Indian batter Rinku Singh turned back the clock and once again did the unthinkable as he smashed three back-to-back sixes in the Super Over of the ongoing UP T20 League to win the game for his team Meerut Mavericks.
The young batter from Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh has been a consistent performer in domestic cricket, however, he came to the limelight for his incredible performances with the bat in IPL 2023. The star batter made the impossible possible for his team Kolkata Knight Riders during the IPL 2023. However, one of his most memorable knocks came in a game against Gujarat Titans, where he smashed five sixes in a row in the last five balls to seal an incredible win for KKR. And now he took off from where he left during the 2nd T20I match against Ireland.
Rinku Singh Smashed 3 Back-To-Back Sixes

He was at it again during the UP T20 league game against Kashi Rudras. Opting to bat first, Meerut registered a total of 181/4 on the scoreboard. Rinku was seen struggling with the bat and was dismissed for 15 off 22 balls. Madhav Kaushik scored an unbeaten knock of 87 runs off 52 balls in the big total.
In the end, it all came down to Super Over, where Rinku Singh showed his batting prowess as he did the unthinkable for his side Meerut.
With 17 runs needed in the Super Over, all eyes were on Rinku Singh. Though, he started the over with a dot ball, but soon switched gears and smashed three back-to-back sixes and took his team home.
Three consecutive sixes and Meerut won the game. Meerut has kickstarted their campaign in the tournament with a six and is currently sitting at the third spot in the points table.
Since there are no domestic tournaments going on right now, Rinku is getting much-needed practice before the upcoming Asian Games. The 25-year-old has been named in the Indian squad for the upcoming Asiad.

Rinku Singh provided the Indian cricket team with an explosive finish as the team ended their first innings on a strong 185/5 in Dublin. During his stellar knock of 38 runs off 21 balls, smashing 2 fours and 3 sixes. During his debut game for India, Rinku displayed some insane power-hitting skills and accelerated from 15* (15) to 38 within the next six balls.
