Rajasthan Royals Fans Are Trolling Riyan Parag Mercilessly

Riyan Parag‘s talent, value, and promise have so far not lived up to the expectations and the hype ahead of the IPL 2023. And the fans are also left flabbergasted at the faith by the Rajasthan Royals in Riyan’s abilities and potential that they abstained to drop him from the XI despite his not performing even up to ordinary standards, let alone the IPL’s lofty standards.

Even the Rajasthan Royals fans didn’t shy away from trolling Riyan Parag when the Assam cricketer was picked up for the match against the Lucknow Super Giants on Wednesday, in RR’s home ground Jaipur.

Some of Parag’s non-cricketing stuff also hasn’t gone down well with the fans. Ahead of the Indian Premier League 2023, the 21-year-old had taken to Twitter to say that his “inner conscience” reckons he will hit 4 sixes in an over in this tournament.

My inner conscience says i’m hitting 4 sixes in an over at some point this IPL,” Parag’s tweet read.

In 4 innings Riyan Parag has hit only 2 sixes and 2 fours

Riyan Parag

In 4 innings that he’s batted in this competition, he has scored 39 runs at a strike rate of 108 with 2 sixes and 2 fours. His highest score of those 4 knocks was 20 and the rest three innings have been single-digit scores.

Parag’s overall IPL career, too, hasn’t lit up as his talent and expectations would do justice to. Having made his debut in 2019, in 41 innings, Parag has scored 564 runs at an average of 16 with a strike rate of 123 with a couple of half-centuries.

He was also dropped from one game before being recalled. This has irked the RR fans and everyone very much, that RR dropped him for just one match.

Here are some of the hilarious memes on Parag that RR fans used to troll him:
