IPL 2023: On Friday, the BCCI announced the schedule of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 schedule. Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Mumbai Indians in its IPL 2023 opener on April 2 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Faf du Plessis-led RCB finished fourth in the points table in the previous edition of the Indian Premier League and lost to Rajasthan Royals in the second qualifier.
The much-awaited Indian Premier League 2023 will be played across 12 venues including the likes of: Ahmedabad, Mohali, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Mumbai, Guwahati, and Dharamsala. And this time the franchises have been divided into two groups.
The teams for the Indian Premier League 2023 have been divided into two groups:

Group A: Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Lucknow Super Giants
Group B: while Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings, and Gujarat Titans
