RR vs GT: 10 Hilarious Memes On Riyan Parag

Riyan Parag‘s IPL 2023 tournament is going from bad to worse. From promising to hit 4 sixes in 4 balls on Twitter to now only managing 3 sixes in 6 innings, Riyan Parag has been brought to the ground in cricket like only life does.

Riyan Parag had come into the IPL 2023 with a lot of expectations. But, that hill has slipped horribly: he was dropped by the half-way stage of the season and today, against Gujarat Titans, he came in as an Impact Player and failed to build even a substantial, sedate, low strike rate partnership.

Rajasthan Royals were needed to make use of the Impact Player in a batsman’s role today despite batting first – generally, teams pick an extra batsman while batting first and bring on a bowler as Impact Player. However, with RR losing their way early on – they were left reeling at 60/3 and sent in R Ashwin at number 5, and when Ashwin got out for 2 runs, they used Parag as an Impact Player.

However, Parag got out for only 4 runs – dismissed via a sharp googly from Rashid Khan.

Yes, he got out to a ripper from Rashid Khan on a two-paced deck in Jaipur. But shouldn’t let the Royals management into believing that Riyan deserves any more chances in this tournament. For, hey, a batter of the highest of calibers of Joe Root is sitting on the bench (RR can use Murugan Ashwin for Zampa and bring in Root for Padikkal/Riyan Parag).

Riyan Parag now has scored only 58 runs in 6 innings in IPL 2023 while facing 54 balls, hitting only 3 fours and 3 sixes.

As usual, Twitterati came up with a spate of memes on Riyan Parag for his another failure:
