Virat Kohli is reportedly still in London. So, he couldn’t attend the pre-wedding bash of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Jamnagar this week.
There is a strong reason to believe that Virat Kohli, who is the most followed individual Indian on Instagram, would have been invited by Mukesh Ambani, one of the world’s richest men, for his son’s pre-wedding event across multiple days and nights.
The city of Jamnagar has this week been turned into a huge aggregation of some of the most prominent names in the world and in India, across fields and industries. No doubt that a number of cricketers turned up for the pre-wedding bash of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, daughter of another Indian businessman. Among cricketers, MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, and Hardik Pandya were the biggest names in the event this week.
Virat Kohli, though, was absent, and it’s not yet known whether he was sent an invitation. Kohli is assumed to be still in London with his wife and children.

Virat Kohli unavailable for fifth Test against England
Virat Kohli and his wife, Anushka Sharma, became parents for the second time on February 15 as they welcomed a son, whom they named Akaay. This is their second child, after three-year-old Vamika, a daughter who was born in 2021.
Kohli had initially landed in Hyderabad for the first Test, but pulled out from the first two Tests three days out from the start of the first game. He then flew to London citing a “personal emergency”. The 35-year-old then withdrew from the next three Tests as well. However, once it was confirmed that Akaay was born on February 15th, some fans believed Kohli could play in the fifth Test starting March 7 in Dharamsala, but the superstar cricketer will not turn up at all in this series.
