Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) superstar batter Virat Kohli, who is hailed as one of the greatest batters to have played the game of cricket is the only player in the history of IPL to have played for the franchise for all 16 editions.

Recently, as the IPL completed 15 years, the IPL legend shared his thoughts about the Indian Premier League in a video shared by JioCinema. Virat was asked a variety of questions ranging from his favorite team to play against to the most underrated batter. While there were a few expected responses, there were a couple of interesting and surprising answers as well.

Virat Kohli Gave Some Interesting Answers

The rapid fire kicked off with ‘who is the G.O.A.T. of the IPL’ and responding to the same, Kohli named AB de Villiers and former Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga.

Next up, Kohli was asked about his favorite IPL opponent, Kohli replied that he enjoys playing against Chennai Super Kings. He said: “Chennai because of a huge fanbase. It’s entertaining.” It has to be noted that RCB has faced CSK 31 times in IPL, with RCB winning 20 matches and CSK winning only 10. In their latest encounter in IPL 2023, RCB lost by eight runs. Kohli is the second-highest run-scorer against CSK.

Next up, Kohli was asked about the most underrated batter in IPL history and without thinking much, Kohli named the former Mumbai Indians and current Chennai Super Kings batter Ambati Rayudu as the most underrated batter of IPL history.

When asked about who is the greatest all-rounder, Virat Kohli thought a bit on the question but he finally zeroed down on his former RCB teammate and the IPL legend Shane Watson. When asked about his favorite shot, Kohli said that his favorite shot in T20s is the pull shot and not cover drive.
