Mohammed Siraj had a field day at the PCA Stadium in Mohai on Thursday as he was heavily involved in RCB’s victory over Punjab Kings (PBKS).
Defending what seemed a par total of 174, Siraj and RCB were on fire in the field. They bowled out Punjab Kings for 150 runs, winning the game by 24 runs, including two direct-hit run-outs.

After dismissing Atharva Taide and Liam Livingstone, both lbw appeals were overturned with the help of DRS, Siraj made a direct hit to find Harpreet Singh Bhatia well short of his crease.
Prabhsimran Singh, after skipping down the pitch, tapped a ball from Vijaykumar Vyshak toward mid-on. At the non-striker’s end, Harpreet considered a chance for a quick single and seeing Prabhsimran also take a couple of steps ahead he went off, only for Prabhsimran to deny the single and tell Harpreet to go back.
Harpreet made a futile effort knowing his fate rested in the hands of RCB Speedster, who was quick to move to his right, collect the ball, and, in no mood of mercy today, made a direct hit with all three stumps to aim. Bhatia was well short of his crease as Kohli charged on in an animated celebration.
Siraj was quick to jump and celebrated in Ronaldo’s famous ‘Siuuuu’ celebration style. The energy from Siraj and Kohli was palpable, knowing they were getting closer to seal the match.
