[Watch] Fans At Chinnaswamy Erupt As Virat Kohli Walks In With Kitbag Ahead Of RCB Unbox Event

Fans got the first glimpse of Virat Kohli in RCB’s training kit on Tuesday evening at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium when the legendary batter had a net session ahead of the RCB Unbox event.

The RCB franchise hosted the RCB Unbox event on Tuesday, March 19, three days out from the start of the IPL 2024 season. The tournament will kick-start on March 22 at Chepauk in Chennai, with MS Dhoni’s CSK, the defending champions, hosting Faf du Plessis and Virat Kohli’s RCB.

Like last year, RCB organised an Unbox event and this time it was an grander celebration as a couple of days ago, Smriti Mandhana captained RCB women’s team to the WPL 2024 title, ending the wait of the RCB fans for a trophy. The women’s team was felicitated by the franchise.

Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Mohammed Siraj and other RCB players attended the Unbox event.

The fans had flocked in huge numbers to the M. Chinnaswamy stadium to see the RCB stars. The stadium looked half-filled even much before the official start time of the show, which was headlined by DJ Alan Walker.

Kohli, who had been in London over the past couple of months for the birth of his second child, Akaay, had a hit in the nets on Tuesday evening before the Unbox event.

As soon as Virat Kohli completed his net session and walked onto the ground with his kitbag, the crowd at the Chinnaswamy erupted in joy and exhilarating at the sight of their favourite player. Kohli had been away for a while and for the first time in his career he missed an entire Test series. So the happiness and elation among the fans was even more than usual while seeing the 35-year-old who is entering the last phase of his cricket career.
