Angry Sreesanth Makes A Controversial Statement On Chennai Super Kings

The ongoing battle between S Sreesanth and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took a new turn when the fast bowler took to Twitter to express his disappointment over board’s decision to challenge the uplifting of his ban, in the Kerala High Court.

The BCCI has decided to appeal against the Kerala High Court order which overturned the life ban Sreesanth got for his alleged involvement in the Indian Premier League (IPL) spot-fixing scandal in 2013.

Sreesanth and a couple of more Rajasthan Royal cricketers were banned after Delhi Police found them guilty in spot-fixing. An investigation was done by the Delhi Police and on the basis of that, Sreesanth was banned for life by BCCI.

Earlier, after the Kerala High Court gave a clean shit to Sreesanth in the IPL spot-fixing scandal,  a BCCI official had told the press that the board would appeal to a lager bench of the Kerala High Court: “Yes, the legal team has studied the Kerala High Court order. The order has been passed by a single judge bench. As per the natural nomenclature, the BCCI has the right to appeal to a larger bench of the Kerala High Court. Therefore, we will be appealing against the overturn of ban at the Division Bench of the Kerala High Court.”

“the board is firm on its zero tolerance policy on corruption and match-fixing,” he added.@bcci office?? Then what about csk and Rajasthan? (sic).”

“C mon @bcci this is worst u can do to anyone that too who is proven innocent not just once but again and again..don’t know why u doing this?”

OUR TAKE: We can understand Sreesanth’s frustration because once he was given the clean chit by the high court, he and his fans were hoping that he will get back to training and might play for India in future. But, soon, BCCI came out and said that they will challenge the decision and put their case forward in front of a larger bench.

However, Sreesanth’s aggressive attitude won’t help his cause as BCCI is known for sidelining and isolating its rebels.
