His impressive innings helped CSK set a challenging target of 210/4 in 20 overs.
On Tuesday, Shivam Dube played a sensational knock of quickfire knock of 66 runs off 27 balls, including 7 sixes and 3 boundaries. He formed a solid partnership with Ruturaj Gaikwad and took the LSG bowlers to all the corners of the ground.
Dube’s onslaught began with the first six in the 13th over and continued, smashing a hat-trick of sixes off Thakur in the 16th over. He reached his half-century in style with a six straight down the ground, impressing even MS Dhoni.
The cricket world showered praise on Dube for his outstanding innings, which completely overwhelmed the Lucknow Super Giants bowlers.
