Aakash Chopra For Dropping Rohit And Virat From His Playing XI For T20 WC 2022: With the successful completion of the 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League, all the focus has once again shifted to international cricket. After a disappointing run in the T20 World Cup 2021, the Men in Blue are eying to redeem themselves in the upcoming T20 World Cup, that will take place in Australia, later this year.

Meanwhile, popular commentator and former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra have named his playing XI of team India for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022. While he has made some interesting choices, but some of his choices have left the fans scratching their head.
The fans were left disappointed as Chopra has dropped captain Rohit Sharma and batting maestro Virat Kohli from his squad. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Aakash Chopra had clarified that he has formed his playing XI for the T20 World Cup based on how players performed in the just concluded 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League.
Since, both Rohit and Virat had a disappointing season this time, Chopra decided to leave them out of his XI. Besides dropping Rohit and Virat, Chopra has left behind Ravindra Jadeja, Rishabh Pant, and Shreyas Iyer.
For the opening positions, Chopra has picked KL Rahul alongwith Ishan Kishan, followed by Suryakumar Yadav at third position.
Chopra has named the IPL 2022-winning captain Hardik Pandya as the captain of his side. He has also picked Dinesh Karthik, who emerged as the best finisher in IPL 2022 and captain of Rajasthan Royals Sanju Samson. In his bowling unit, he has named Krunal Pandya, Yuzvendra Chahal, Mohammed Shami, Avesh Khan, Arshdeep Singh, Kuldeep Yadav, Harshal Patel, and Jasprit Bumrah.
Meanwhile, fans were left disappointed with the playing XI picked by Aakash Chopra for his the upcoming World Cup. Fans are slamming him left, right, and center for dropping Rohit and Virat.
