WATCH: Ian Bishop’s Iconic Commentary On Yashasvi Jaiswal Goes Viral

Rajasthan Royals (RR) opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has been in superb touch in the ongoing IPL 2023 season, and the left-hander raised another half-century when he scored 77 runs off 43 balls against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Jaipur on Thursday.

Right from the first ball of the innings, which he creamed away for four through the covers off Akash Singh, Jaiswal was in surreal touch and looked prime for a big knock. His 77 runs knock included 8 fours and 4 eye-catching sixes; his playing at a strike rate of 179 made things easier for Jos Buttler, who was overshadowed today and played an uncharacteristic knock of 27 runs off 21 balls.

His blistering knock included a terrific sixer off left-arm seamer Akash Singh. It was so delightful that even the calm and composed Bishop couldn’t hold himself back from expressing his emotions. As the southpaw picked up a length delivery from Akash Singh and deposited it over deep mid-wicket, Bishop exulted in the commentary box.

“OHH Lovely,” Bishop said. “He’s some Player. He’s brave, he’s aggressive Yashasvi Jaiswal,” Bishop added.

This piece of commentary from Ian Bishop went viral in quick time on the internet:

After his innings, Jaiswal is the fifth leading run-scorer in the IPL 2023. The youngster has scored 300 runs in 8 innings at an average of 42 with a strike rate of 147 having notched up 3 fifties in the tournament so far.

Meanwhile, earlier, RR captain Sanju Samson had won the toss and elected to bowl first.
