Former Indian captain MS Dhoni, along with other Indian cricketers, was present at Virat Kohli’s fundraising dinner in England. Virat Kohli Foundation organised a fundraising event and famous sports commentator Alan Wilkins was given the duty of anchoring it. Every member of Team India, along with support staff and coaching staff, attended the event which was hosted by the Indian captain Virat Kohli’s foundation.

Alan Wilkins, who also commentates during IPL, quizzed Indian cricketers and asked them some very funny and interesting questions. When MS Dhoni came and sat on the hot seat, Wilkins first asked his views on Duckworth Lewis method. Wilkins asked this question because D/L method has been the biggest talking point of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 due to overcast weather conditions in UK.

Dhoni, in his trademark style, gave a very simple and honest answer to Wilkins question.

“I don’t think even ICC understands the D/L method and how it works,” Dhoni said.

MS Dhoni Names The Fastest Bowler He Has Ever Faced

Later, Alan Wilkins asked MS Dhoni to name the fastest bowler he has ever faced. Dhoni, who faced Pakistan’s Rawalpindi Express many times at the start of his career, took no time in naming him as the fastest bowler he has ever faced in his career.

“If I have to name one quick bowler who was tough to play against in my career, simple and easy answer would be Shoaib Akhtar,” MS Dhoni said.

However, it must be noted that Dhoni batted very well against Akhtar more often than not. During his innings of 148 at Faisalabad in 2006, Dhoni played Akhtar very well and scored runs freely off him.
