Shubman Gill’s Reaction To Fans Chanting “Sara Sara” Has Gone Viral

India’s young opener Shubman Gill has become the talk of the town after he played a sensational knock in the 1st ODI match against New Zealand at the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad. He became the fifth Indian and youngest player in the world to score a double-century in ODI cricket. 

While he has been receiving praise from all corners for his stunning knock, at the same time, a video of him has been going viral on the internet, which showed the crowd chanting ‘Sara Sara’ when Gill was fielding at the boundary rope. It was the reaction of Gill that went viral as he gave fans a wave amid the loud cheers.

For the unversed, Gill was rumored to be dating Sara Tendulkar, who is the daughter of batting legend Sachin Tendulkar. While they never confirmed the relationship, speculations were always there. As per the reports, both of them have parted ways with each other. In fact, both stars have unfollowed each other on Instagram. He now seems to have found love again but in another Sara. Yes, in the past few months, Gill has been spotted with Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan a number of times, and the rumors of both dating each other have been going on for quite a long time now. While speculations are rife, both Sara and Gill have remained tightlipped about their bond.

Talking about the sensational knock of Gill, he stole the show with the bat in the 1st ODI match against New Zealand as he played a powerful knock. Gill smashed the Kiwi bowlers to all the corners of the ground and became the 5th Indian batter to register a double-century in the ODI format of the game. Playing a sensational knock, Gill joined the batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Rohit Sharma, and Ishan Kishan in the elite list of Indian batsmen to hit a double-century in ODIs. He smashed sensational 208 runs off 149 balls, including 19 boundaries and 9 maximums.
