“Definitely Not”, these two words were enough to send waves of happiness over the fans of MS Dhoni, however, there are many who aren’t happy with the decision of the legendary cricketer to not retire from the Indian Premier League.

There isn’t any denying the fact that MS Dhoni and his led IPL team just endured their worst season ever in the IPL history. Having won the prestigious trophy of IPL three times, fans had a lot of expectations from Chennai Super Kings, who was among the favorites this season. However, throughout the season, CSK didn’t look like the team CSK fans loved.

CSK’s captain MS Dhoni has come under the scanner of people because of his poor show during the IPL 2020. He was seen struggling with his form throughout the season. He wasn’t able to set his feet with the bat throughout the season and failed to live up to the expectations of his fans.

Dhoni is also getting slammed for a few of the captaincy decisions that backfired on him during the season. MS Dhoni has been under fierce criticism from commentators, as well as, cricketing pundits and all this led to speculations and debates that Dhoni might be playing his last season this time.

However, ahead of their last match of IPL 2020, MSD cleared the air and confirmed that he will be back again next year.

After the toss, when Dhoni was asked whether the game against KXIP could be his last game in the yellow. MSD said: “Definitely not”.
