Fans Troll Suryakumar Yadav After Picture With AB de Villiers Goes Viral

Suryakumar Yadav is going through a rare lean patch and social media hasn’t been kind to the world’s number 1 T20 batter either.

After bagging 3 golden ducks during the ODI series against Australia, SKY was dismissed for 15 (16) in his first IPL 2023 match for Mumbai Indians against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

The 32-year-old was trolled left, right, and centre on Sunday evening after his picture with the original, torchbearer 360-degree batsman, AB de, went viral.

In the photo, SKY was seen hugging AB de Villiers and that photo was posted by a highly-followed Twitter account which raged fire on social media as many fans trolled the Indian batter.

Here are some of the tweets on Suryakumar Yadav hugging AB de Villiers:

Suryakumar scores only 15 runs vs RCB after MI lose early wickets

The Mumbai Indians’ batters didn’t have a good return in the IPL as they lost consistent wickets to RCB. Ishan Kishan, Cameron Green, and Rohit Sharma were dismissed in the powerplay and Suryakumar Yadav followed soon. Debutant Nehal Wadhera played a supportive hand of 21 (13) to youngster Tilak Varma, who had did a similar role of carrying the batting line-up after early jolts last season.

He did it today, and quite spectacularly, against the RCB bowlers. The 20-year-old left-hander was magnificient in both playing spin and pace today, scoring 84 unbeaten runs off 46 balls, helping MI to a competitive total of 171.
