Steve Smith has been in some impeccable form and has been giving consistently great performances for a long time now. Smith Steve carried off the same form in the ongoing three-match ODI series against India.
In the second match at the SCA Stadium in Rajkot, Steve Smith carried off his caliber and class, however, he fell short of a century by 2 runs after Kuldeep Yadav found his inside-edge on 98 runs. Now, in the ongoing decider and final match at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, he has been making it difficult for the Indian bowlers.
Steve Smith was in a brilliant form as he gave a stunning company to Aaron Finch and then to Marnus Labuschagne. But Aaron Finch failed to make it big for his team, the second time in a row as he was dismissed early in the game. Marnus was also sent back to the pavilion after the Indian skipper pulled off a stunning catch to dismiss him.
However, Steve Smith didn’t let the pressure get to him and he went on to smash 131 runs off 132 balls, smashing the balls to all the corners of the ground, hitting 14 balls and 1 six.
Steve once again proved that he is the most unpredictable batsman when it comes to shot-making. While his complete knock kept everyone on the edge of their seats, but there was this one shot that made everyone remember the legendary batsman MS Dhoni as Steve Smith launched a stunning wristy helicopter shot for the only six of his knock.
