Hardik Pandya shuffled the Indian bowlers and they did a fantastic job in bowling out Australia for only 188 runs in the 1st ODI between the two teams, on Friday, at the Wankhede.
Hardik Pandya captained India in the 1st ODI in the absence of Rohit Sharma, who was unavailable for family reasons. This was another excellent show by Gujarat Titans Skipper, as he smartly rotated, made spot-on bowling changes by bringing in the right bowler at the right time.
Only Shardul Thakur was under bowled – because Australia were bundled out inside 36 overs – while all the rest of the bowlers were amongst wickets with Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj taking 3 wickets each, Jadeja took two wickets while Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav took a scalp each.

The 29-year-old Gujarat Titans Skipper was marshaling his bowlers well, talking to them whenever Mitchell Marsh smoked them for boundaries, or whenever he needed to make a field change, taking his time and giving his bowlers the best fielding options to deliver the goods.
Amid this, however, there was one instance where Gujarat Titans Skipper rudely ignored the suggestions from Virat Kohli. In the video that has gone viral on social media, VK and Hardik can be seen talking with Kuldeep, discussing the bowling and fielding plans.
As Kohli is speaking with both of them, Gujarat Titans Skipper moves away from the conversation and makes his own fielding change. VK spots Pandya making that fielding change and stops the conversation with Kuldeep and shots something toward Pandya who is busy ignoring the former India skipper and making his own decision.

Meanwhile, Australia suffered a collapse today. At one point, when Mitchell Marsh was going gung-ho on the bowlers, it looked like Australia will breach the 300-mark, but they fell well short of it.
Marsh scored 81 runs off 65 balls, but his dismissal triggered a collapse from 129/2 to 188 all-out.
