RCB pacer Mohammed Siraj has continued his storming form in the powerplay, and against the CSK, he got the big fish of the in-form Ruturaj Gaikwad, at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium.
This was a big scalp taken by Siraj as Gaikwad has been in superb form in the tournament and had been averaging 65 in his first 4 innings. Hence, the aggressive, usually energetic celebration was not surprising from RCB Speedster.
On the second ball of his second over, he bowled a full-length delivery on Gaikwad’s pads. In drifted in and the batter flicked it on the leg-side. The ball went with the angle and to the left of the fine-leg fielder. Wayne Parnell, at fine leg, had to take a few steps to his left and he bent low to complete a good catch under pressure.
Siraj burst into a cheerful, loud, animated, strong celebration. The ever-energetic Kohli too let out a loud shout, corresponding to Siraj. And so the Chinnaswamy stadium.
