Punjab Kings (PBKS), who recently announced veteran opener Shikhar Dhawan as their new captain, will lock horns with two-time Indian Premier League champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their opening match of IPL 2023. It will be a new start for the Punjab-based franchise under the captaincy of Shikhar Dhawan.
PBKS is placed in group B and the Indian Premier League 2023 final will be played on May 28 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
