Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal endured a stellar run in the just-concluded 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League on a personal level. Though, Rajasthan royals couldn’t win their second IPL title, following the 7-wicket loss to Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans in the final game at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
With the ball in hand, Yuzvendra had a dream run in the IPL 2022 as he picked 26 wickets during the tournament and also went on to win the prized Purple Cap of this season. He gave consistent performances throughout the year. Besides Jos Buttler, it won’t be wrong to say that Yuzvendra Chahal was one of the main reasons behind Rajasthan’s successful run in the IPL.

With the successful completion of the IPL 2022, the focus has now shifted to the international scene. Yuzvendra Chahal will be now seen playing for the Indian cricket team in the upcoming 5-match T20I series against South Africa, which is scheduled to take place from 9th July.
