IND vs SA: BCCI Announced Squad For T20I Series; KL Rahul Named Captain

IND vs SA: After a thrilling and entertaining session of the IPL cricket, the BCCI is all set to host South Africa at home for a T20I series. India and South Africa are all set to play five matches against each other and this would give both sides an opportunity to finalize their squads for the upcoming t20 World Cup that is scheduled to take place later this year.

As per the reports, BCCI has decided to rest senior players Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Jasprit Bumrah to keep them fresh for the marquee tournament. The BCCI will also give an opportunity to new faces on the side while a few old faces could make a return to the Indian side.

Following an excellent season in the ongoing 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League, players like Hardik Pandya,Kuldeep Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Deepak Hooda, and Dinesh Karthik have been given an opportunity to make a comeback to the Indian cricket team. Umran Malik and Arshdeep Singh have received the maiden call-up.

Besides this, in the absence of Rohit Sharma, Indian opener KL Rahul will be leading the Indian cricket team in the India vs South Africa T20 series.
