Shreyas Iyer Possibly Ruled out of TATA IPL 2023

During the fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023, Shreyas Iyer complained of lower back soreness. He was then given a scan. BCCI Official Says, “It’s Frustrating”:

“It’s frustrating for sure. And it’s not the first time that a player has recurrence of an injury. We should have learned from Bumrah but we did not. Shreyas should have been eased into the team and not rushed to play grinding Test cricket. Hopefully, he will be fit for the ODI series. But it’s difficult to say anything at this point. He had scans and is currently under the medical team’s observation,”, a BCCI official said in a statement to a renowned media house.
